| Obverse description | Brown and red Notgeld voucher on a fine guilloche underprint ground, with the large blackletter denomination legend 'Fünf Millionen Mark' occupying the central field. The heading 'Gutschein' is set in bold blackletter at the top, flanked by small cross ornaments at each upper corner, while two lines of text below identify the districts of validity as the Kreishauptmannschaften Zwickau, Chemnitz and Dresden. A detailed multi-line text block in the lower portion names the participating colliery associations and financial institutions responsible for payment, closing with the place and date 'Zwickau, den 14.
