| Obverse description | Printed in green on uncoloured paper stock, the face carries a geometric guilloche underprint with a diamond-lattice field and floral scroll border framing the entire note. The issuer name "Stadt Euskirchen" in Gothic blackletter heads the design, with a series letter and serial number at either side, while the denomination legend "Gutschein über Fünf Millionen Mark" runs in large blackletter type across the upper half. At lower left, a letterpress vignette of the Euskirchen municipal coat of arms — a turreted gateway flanked by two heraldic lions — is set above a multi-line obligation text in Fraktur script, the issue date "Euskirchen, 22. August 1923", and two manuscript signatures below the designations "Der Bürgermeister" and "Die Stadtkasse". |

| Reverse description | The reverse is printed entirely in green on uncoloured paper, with the same geometric guilloche and diamond-lattice underprint extending across the full field. "Stadt Euskirchen." in Gothic blackletter is centred at the top, below which the denomination "Fünf Millionen" appears in bold blackletter type. A standalone letterpress vignette of the Euskirchen municipal coat of arms — a turreted tower with flanking supporters set within a decorative cartouche — occupies the lower centre, with no additional text surrounding it. |
