A central diamond-shaped guilloche vignette frames an oval medallion in which a miner figure is shown with the Bochum coat of arms below, set against a wheel motif evoking the city's coal-mining heritage. The lower red band displays the denomination Fünf Millionen Mark in tall ornamental Gothic lettering, with two lines of text above and below the central vignette stating the note's validity condition and its authorisation by the Reichsminister der Finanzen. |
