| Beschrijving voorzijde | Brown and green bicolour note with a broad left panel carrying an elaborate Renaissance-style foliate vignette in green, incorporating a cherub mask amid acanthus scrollwork, all enclosed within a brown guilloche border. The text field to the right bears the issuer heading in Fraktur script at top, a serial number in the upper left, and the denomination "Fünf Millionen Mark" in large Gothic lettering over a fine wavy-line underprint. Below the denomination a three-line redemption clause in small Fraktur text is followed by the place-and-date line "Aachen, den 20. | Beschrijving keerzijde | Printed entirely in dark brownish-red, the reverse is covered by a dense all-over ornamental underprint of acanthus scrollwork interspersed with four cherub figures — one at each corner of the central panel — set against a dotted pearl-border inner frame. A rounded rectangular central cartouche on plain paper ground carries the denomination repeated in three lines of Gothic type, with the issuer attribution below. The overall composition is purely typographic and decorative, with no pictorial vignette. |
