| Beschrijving voorzijde | The face is printed in dark brown on a tan guilloche underprint, with the denomination 'Mk 5000 000 Mk' repeated in large Gothic numerals across the top and bottom registers. A central text block in ornate Fraktur script bears the full payment obligation statement, dated Dortmund, 15. August 1923, naming the municipal and district treasuries of Dortmund and Hörde as liable parties. Two manuscript signatures of issuing officials appear below the authorisation text, alongside a red serial number prefix letter 'C' and stamped number. |

The denomination 'Mk 5000 000 Mk' is repeated in large Gothic type above and below the central panel, with '5000000' printed vertically along both side margins. The central field contains a two-line legal authorisation text in cursive script, citing the Reichsminister der Finanzen approval under the Reichsgesetz of 17 July, followed by a validity clause stating the note expires one month after public notice. |
