Obverse description	Red-orange intaglio print on pale orange guilloche underprint, with contrasting gray-blue lathe work. Portrait vignette of Bosnian Serb writer Petar Kočić (1877–1916) at left, his name and dates inscribed vertically along the left margin. A large oval guilloche rosette occupies the center, with the denomination numeral 5000000 overprinted in red. Complex interlaced lathe-work ornaments fill the right portion, with the Governor's signature below and the issuing place and date БАЊА ЛУКА 1993 at lower right. The bank title НАРОДНА БАНКА РЕПУБЛИКЕ СРПСКЕ is printed in red at top center, with the vertical legend ПЕТ МИЛИОНА ДИНАРА along the right edge.

The Serbian double-headed eagle coat of arms is centrally positioned, set against a radiating sunburst guilloche background. Two large interlaced guilloche rosettes flank the arms at lower left and lower right, each incorporating the denomination numeral 5000000. A further guilloche cartouche appears at upper right. The serial number is printed in red at center left, with the place and date BANJA LUKA 1993 at lower left and the anti-counterfeiting legend at bottom center.
