| Reverse description | A crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed in the field, with wings spread and the numeral 48 denoting the denomination emblazoned on its breast shield. Below the eagle's breast, an armorial escutcheon bearing the personal arms of Lübeck Bürgermeister Heinrich Rust is incorporated into the design. The peripheral legend, divided across the field, reads MON·NOVA·IMP·CIVITAT·LUBECÆ, identifying this as a new coinage of the Imperial City of Lübeck. |
