| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field depicts a stylized hintha (Brahmin duck) rendered in schematic, cast relief, featuring an elaborate curled crest, elongated beak, and a decorative fan-like tail executed in the traditional Mon artistic style. The bird motif occupies the majority of the central field, its form indicated by fluid, low-relief casting lines typical of Tenasserim-Pegu tin coinage. The design is enclosed within a raised annular border of evenly spaced pellets (dotted border), itself surrounded by a plain raised rim. The overall surface shows the characteristic granular texture and oxidation patina associated with cast tin-lead alloy pieces of the period. |
