Reverse description Central shield bearing a passant guardant lion, the colonial arms of Cyprus, surmounted by an imperial crown. A scroll banner above the shield bears the inscription CYPRUS, while the date 19-21 is divided across the lower portion of the shield on either side of the lion. The denomination FOUR & A HALF PIASTRES curves along the lower periphery within a beaded border, with decorative dot stops flanking the upper legend.
