Obverse description Highly stylized, schematic effigy of the goddess Lakshmi seated facing in padmasana (lotus position), rendered in the debased Chandella style typical of the 12th century. The figure is depicted frontally with globular forms representing the head, torso, and limbs, characteristic of the abstracted iconographic conventions of late medieval Indian coinage. The arms are extended outward in a symmetrical posture, and the overall design occupies the full field of the irregularly shaped flan. The relief is bold and raised, with the artistic execution reflecting the highly conventionalized degeneration of earlier, more naturalistic Lakshmi types.

Reverse description The reverse bears a bold Nagari inscription arranged within the field of the coin, reading in multiple lines and occupying the majority of the available flan surface. The characters are rendered in a stylized, somewhat compressed form consistent with 12th-century Chandella epigraphic conventions. The legend identifies the issuing ruler by his full royal title and name. The inscription is the primary design element, with no additional decorative motifs visible in the field apart from a small dot to the right. The legends are deeply struck and legible despite the irregular flan.
