The star is surrounded by a wreath of laurel branches interspersed with small floral ornaments. The circular legend PETRUS II D. G. C. IMP. ET PERP. BRAS. DEF. runs along the periphery, with the date 1827 (the host coin's date) and a mint mark visible in the lower exergue. |
