背面描述 Printed on light green paper with a salmon-red rectangular border frame, the reverse presents a detailed line-drawn vignette of the 'Altes Schloss' (Old Castle) of Trappstadt, rendered in a woodcut-style with fine cross-hatching to suggest stonework and foliage. The denomination '40 Pfennig' is inscribed in stylised script at upper left within the frame, with the caption 'Altes Schloss.' at lower left and the artist's name 'Wiesler' at lower right. The printer's imprint 'Franz Scheiner, Würzburg' appears in red letterpress below the frame.

备注

Trappstadt is a small Franconian village — population in the hundreds even today — and its decision to issue emergency currency in 1920 places it among the thousands of German municipalities that filled the coin vacuum left by wartime metal hoarding and postwar Reichsbank dysfunction. These Kleingeldscheine were a local administrative act, not a banking one; the Marktgemeinde essentially printed its own change.

Franz Scheiner was a Würzburg printer who handled numerous Notgeld commissions across Lower Franconia during this period. The square format here is notably extreme — few issues approach equal height and width at this scale.
