Reverse description The reverse displays a high-relief allegorical figural composition set against a plain brown porcelain field enclosed by the same lobed scalloped cartouche border as the obverse. A nude putto or winged cherub is depicted in dynamic, outward-stretching pose, seated astride a large bird in flight — likely a swan or eagle — whose spread wings are rendered in fine detail across the lower portion of the field. Two additional smaller birds in flight appear in the upper left and right portions of the field, flanking the central figure. The overall composition evokes themes of flight and freedom, stylistically consistent with the Jugendstil-influenced ceramic notgeld art produced at the Meissen or similar German porcelain workshops during the Weimar inflation period.
