| Obverse description | Bust of the beardless emperor Constans II shown in full-length facing effigy, clad in imperial loros and wearing a crown surmounted by a cross. In his right hand he holds a long processional cross, while his left hand bears the globus cruciger, symbols of Christian imperial sovereignty.
