| Obverse description | Central vignette presents a detailed line-engraved view of Burg Geiersberg castle, with its stone towers, main keep, and surrounding alpine landscape of conifer trees and boulders. A decorative scroll cartouche in the upper left bears the inscription "Burg Geiersberg" in Gothic script, while the denomination numeral "40" appears in the upper right corner within a floral border element. The entire composition is framed by a striped and ornamental border in brown on cream paper. |
