| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in dark green on cream paper with an ornate border of repeating geometric and foliate motifs. A central rectangular vignette presents a photographic-style landscape of the Hochtorgruppe massif reflected in a lake, with a bridge in the middle distance and dense Alpine forest framing the scene. The denomination '40' appears in large bold numerals in octagonal cartouches at left and right, flanked by vase-and-edelweiss floral vignettes, while the heading 'Gutschein des Marktes Admont.' is set in Gothic blackletter script across the top, and the motto 'Hinaus in die Welt! doch nicht als Geld.' runs along the lower panel beside a central decorative emblem. |
