Obverse description Printed on pink paper in dark blue ink, the obverse carries a central pastoral vignette of a rural Austrian farmstead with trees and an arched gateway, before which livestock — cattle, sheep, and a pig — are gathered alongside a peasant woman in traditional dress. A scroll banner at the top bears the inscription 'Gemeinde' and a lower ribbon scroll reads 'Pucking.', while a wayside shrine or dovecote at upper right displays '10 Heller'; large overprinted numerals '40' appear at left and right in dark ink, superseding the original face value. The lower left corner repeats '10 Heller' and the artist's signature 'L. Haase Linz' appears at lower right of the vignette.

Reverse description The reverse is printed on the same pink stock in dark blue, enclosed within an ornate letterpress border of interlaced geometric and foliate motifs. The text, set in a Gothic blackletter typeface, opens with a large decorative initial 'D' and states the municipality's council resolution of 24 May 1920 authorising the issue of vouchers to a total value of 30,000 Kronen, redeemable at the municipal treasury (Gemeindekasse) in legal tender by 31 December 1920. A cautionary anti-counterfeiting line and the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister appear at the foot, with the printer's imprint 'Druck v. Langhammer, Linz' at lower right.
