MEGGENHOFEN' is set in bold decorative Gothic lettering at top, below which 'GUTSCHEIN ÜBER' introduces the denomination panel 'VIERZIG HELL.' in a bolted cartouche. Left margin notes 'II. Auflage'; lower text states the redemption clause. An oval municipal seal appears at upper right, with the Bürgermeister's manuscript signature below.
