Reverse description Worn reverse displaying traces of a standing figure or schematic design, heavily abraded and partially illegible. Remnants of an inscription or decorative elements are faintly discernible in the field, consistent with simplified Umayyad imitative types derived from Byzantine reverse types. The flat, irregular flan and crude execution are typical of early Umayyad copper fulus struck in the post-conquest Levantine mints. No clear exergual inscription is identifiable.
