| Obverse description | A revalidation overprint applied to the Hungary 5000 Korona note (P-76), with the new denomination '40' printed in black at the top centre and 'NEGYVEN FILLÉR' in bold green letterpress across the lower portion of the note. The underlying host note retains its original dark brown guilloche border framework, a central vignette with a portrait of a crowned female figure in an oval frame to the right, and the Hungarian text 'ÖTEZER KORONA' with the statutory legal tender inscription dated Budapest, 1923. évi Julius hó 1-én. A red serial number and series designation appear across the centre field. |
