Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a large five-pointed star in high relief at center, radiating finely engraved sunburst lines from each of its five points to fill the field, lending the design a striking luminous effect. The national motto 'PATRIA Y LIBERTAD' arcs across the upper field, separated from the star by a beaded inner border. The lower portion of the field carries the specifications and date in three groups: '10 G.' at the lower left indicating weight, '900 M' at the lower right indicating fineness, and the year of issue centered at the bottom, all separated by raised dots. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border near the reeded rim.
