Obverse description Armored and draped bust of Grand Master Antonio Manoel de Vilhena facing right, with elaborate long curled wig characteristic of the early 18th-century Baroque style. The effigy displays finely detailed plate armor with decorative elements visible at the shoulder and chest. The surrounding legend reads F·D·AN: MANOEL DE VILHENA, distributed around the periphery of the coin field. The portrait is rendered in high relief with strong sculptural modeling, consistent with the refined engraving tradition of the Order of Malta's coinage.
