Reverse description Half-length armored effigy of Elector John the Steadfast of Saxony facing right, wearing a plumed hat and armor, holding a baton over his right shoulder. Two Saxon lion shields flank the figure in the field, with the abbreviated name IOAN. NES. (Johannes) inscribed at either side and the commemorative dates 1530 and 25. Juny prominently placed within the composition. The continuous Latin legend NOMEN DOMINI TURRIS FORTISSIMA encircles the design within a beaded border, recalling the original presentation of the Augsburg Confession in 1530 under John the Steadfast's authority.
