Obverse description Rectangular cast copper dump piece bearing the crowned VOC (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie) monogram in relief within the field, accompanied by the denomination inscription '4 3/4 ST' and the letter 'C' denoting the Colombo chamber. The design is characteristically crude and utilitarian, consistent with VOC coinage produced for circulation in Ceylon.
