Obverse description Displayed double-headed Imperial eagle with a nimbus (halo) encircling each head, the wings spread and detailed with feather engraving in the hammered style. A crown surmounts the two heads at the center. The entire device is set within a beaded inner circle, with the encircling Latin legend occupying the outer field. The date numeral '44' (for 1544) appears integrated within the legend.
