| Obverse description | Central device comprising a crowned quartered coat of arms superimposed upon a Burgundian cross, the quarters bearing the heraldic charges of the Abbey of Thorn and the County of Marck. The crown above the shield is rendered in high relief with scrollwork detail. A beaded inner border frames the design, and the circular Latin legend runs along the periphery within a beaded outer border. The strike is typical of hammered coinage, resulting in a slightly irregular planchet with areas of weakness. |

| Reverse description | A large crowned double-headed Imperial eagle displayed in the field, with both heads facing outward and surmounted by a single Imperial crown. The eagle's wings are spread and its talons are visible at the base. The circular Latin legend referencing Emperor Matthias II runs along the periphery within a beaded border, invoking his titles as elected Holy Roman Emperor. The hammered execution results in moderate relief with some weakness at the legend extremities. |
