Reverse description Central field features a long cross pattée whose arms extend to a beaded inner circle, with a fleur-de-lis ornament placed in each of the four quarters formed by the cross arms, a design characteristic of Flemish groot-type coinage. A beaded inner circle encloses this central device, beyond which an intermediate legend band reads MONETA FLANDRIE, separated by a clover or trefoil stop, identifying this as the coinage of Flanders. An outer legend band, likewise separated by a beaded circle, carries the Scriptural inscription BENEDICT QVI VENIT IN NOMINE DOMINI, punctuated by triple dots, a standard devotional formula on medieval Flemish issues.
