| 正面描述 | Within a plain inner circle, a crowned oval shield bearing the royal initial 'F' (for Fredericus/Frederick II) in bold relief. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown rendered in a simple, archaic style characteristic of mid-16th century Danish hammered coinage. The square klippe flan exhibits irregular clipped corners, with the field outside the circle largely plain and unadorned. The design is boldly struck with strong relief on the central monogram. |

Frederick II struck debased emergency coinage throughout the Seven Years' War (known in Scandinavian historiography as the Northern Seven Years' War, 1563–1570), a conflict fought against Sweden over Baltic dominance and the terms of the Treaty of Roskilde. The war was financially ruinous for Denmark almost immediately, and the billon content of these issues dropped sharply as the decade progressed — the 1563 pieces, from the war's opening year, sit at the higher end of the silver content range for this type.
