Reverse description Crowned shield bearing the arms of Denmark, set within an inner beaded circle that it partially breaks. The date is divided at either side of the shield in the field. A surrounding Latin legend appears between the inner and outer beaded rings. The heraldic composition is typical of mid-16th century Danish provincial coinage, with the crowned arms serving as the primary device.
