Reverse description The shield of Jersey's coat of arms dominates the central field, displaying the three golden leopards passant guardant arranged vertically on a red ground, rendered in bold relief. The date 1937 is divided to either side of the shield at mid-height, flanked by small lozenge stops. The circular legend STATES OF JERSEY runs along the upper periphery, while MODEL FOUR SHILLINGS arcs along the lower periphery, all within a continuous border of fine dentils. The overall design closely replicates the style of the original 1937 Jersey coinage proposal.
