Obverse description Green intaglio print on white paper with red serial numbers. A front-facing portrait vignette of King George VI occupies the right portion of the note, with the ship seal of the Bahamas at left and a central watermark reserve area. The legend references the Currency Note Act 1936 and the motto EXPULSIS PIRATIS RESTITUTA COMMERCIA, with the printer's imprint of Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited, London at the base.

Reverse description Multicolour print centred on the British Royal coat of arms at left, with the denomination value at right and a central watermark reserve area. The reverse carries the bilingual motto inscriptions DIEU ET MON DROIT and HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE associated with the Royal Arms, set within a guilloche underprint. The overall composition reflects the standard colonial issue design of the Bahamas Government currency series.
