| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse of the halved Mexican 8 Reales host coin, presenting a crowned Royal Arms shield flanked by the Pillars of Hercules, all surrounded by a partial Latin legend identifying the monarch and the mint of issue. The cut edge bisects the design, leaving approximately half of the original reverse composition visible on the semi-circular flan. The mintmark Mo (Mexico City) and the assayer's initials, along with the denomination 8R, are partially legible within the surviving portion of the legend. |
