| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features an ornate crowned script cipher of Duke Frederick Francis I of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, comprising the interlaced initials FF rendered in elaborate Baroque calligraphic style. The monogram is surmounted by a ducal crown with prominent arched form and jewelled band. Decorative foliate and scroll elements flank the cipher on either side, filling the field. The overall design is devoid of a surrounding legend, relying entirely on the crowned monogram as the primary device. The coin exhibits a milled border along the rim. |
