| Additional information |
Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp was in the thick of the Great Northern War during this period, with Duke Frederick IV actively allied with Charles XII of Sweden against Denmark. Danish forces occupied much of the duchy between 1700 and 1709, and coinage from these years was produced under serious political and military pressure. The duchy's minting operations were intermittent at best.
KM#185 spans a seven-year window, but surviving examples suggest production was far from continuous across that range.
