| Obverse description | Central field bears a three-line Arabic legend naming the regent Ali III (Bey of Tunis), rendered in an elegant Maghrebi script. The inscription is framed on both sides by a symmetrical wreath of two olive or laurel branches, tied at the base, whose foliate sprays curve upward to meet at the top of the design. A fine beaded border encircles the entire composition. |

| Reverse description | Central field displays a multi-line Arabic legend in Maghrebi script recording the denomination and place of mintage, with the Hijri date inscribed below. Two large, sweeping olive or laurel branches frame the legend on either side, curving inward from the base to enclose the entire field in an ornate wreath. The Hijri year appears prominently above the base ornament, and a decorative floral or knotwork device ties the branches together at the lower extremity. A beaded border runs along the rim. |
