Reverse description A laureate draped bust of Liberty faces left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed flowing hair adorned with a laurel branch, in the neoclassical style characteristic of Heaton mint engraver Charles Booth. The peripheral legend reads + LIBERTAD + in the upper field, with CUATRO REALES arcing along the lower left and the fineness and engraver's initials 0.900 • C.B. along the lower right, all separated by small dot stops. The Heaton mint mark H appears in small letters at the base of the bust, with the entire design bounded by a milled border.
