(Translation: Isabella II by the grace of God and the Constitution)
Reverse description Crowned quartered shield of Spain at center, displaying castles and lions in the traditional Castile-León arrangement with a small escutcheon at the fess point bearing the Bourbon fleurs-de-lis. The shield is encircled by a wreath of laurel and oak branches tied at the base, with the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece suspended below. The mint mark 'B' and assayer initials 'PS' appear at the base flanking the wreath knot, while the denomination '4 RS' is positioned to the right of the shield within the wreath. The royal crown surmounts the shield above.
