Reverse description The quartered coat of arms of Spain surmounted by a closed royal crown occupies the central field, with the denomination numeral 4 to the left of the shield and the abbreviation Rs. to the right. The shield displays the traditional castles of Castile and lions of León in the first and fourth quarters, with the fleurs-de-lis of the House of Bourbon in the central escutcheon. Two six-pointed stars flank the base of the shield. The surrounding legend REINA DE LAS ESPAÑAS runs along the upper and lateral periphery, with the entire design enclosed within a beaded border.
