备注

Banco J. Benites é Hijo was one of several short-lived private commercial banks that briefly operated in Bolivia during the 1860s, before the country developed any meaningful framework for regulating note-issuing institutions. The 1867 date places this note in an extraordinarily narrow window — Bolivian private banking of this type effectively collapsed before it could take root, and surviving paper from these issuers is rare precisely because circulation was so limited and the banks so unstable.

The denomination in reales bolivianos rather than pesos reflects the transitional monetary nomenclature of the period, before Bolivia standardized its currency terminology.
