Obverse description Central device consisting of the Prussian crowned shield bearing the displayed eagle of the Hohenzollern arms, the eagle rendered with spread wings and detailed feathering within a shaped cartouche shield. A royal crown surmounts the shield. The circular legend reading '90 EINEN THALER' arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin capital letters, indicating the coin's fractional value relative to the Thaler.
