Obverse description Quartered shield of arms, surmounted by a princely crown, displayed within elaborate baroque cartouche with foliate scrollwork flanking both sides. The upper-left and lower-right quarters bear the arms of Fulda Abbey (a cross on a gridded field), while the upper-right quarter shows a stepped escarpment and the lower-right quarter displays a fleur-de-lis on a semy field, referencing the Dalberg family arms. The coin's milled border frames the entire composition.
