| Obverse description | Central field displays the crowned Bavarian lion passant to the left, rendered in high relief in the primitive hammered style typical of early 17th-century Bavarian small coinage. To the right of the lion appears the Bavarian lozengy shield (fusilly in bend), a heraldic device emblematic of the House of Wittelsbach. The date, partially legible, is struck above the central devices. The entire design is contained within a beaded or irregular border, consistent with the irregular flan preparation characteristic of hammered issues. |

| Reverse description | The denomination inscription 'IIII' (Roman numeral four) appears prominently in the upper field, with the abbreviation 'PFE' (for Pfennige) directly below, together occupying the central field. The numerals and letters are bold and simply rendered. The central inscription is surrounded by a wreath of laurel or oak branches, encircled by an outer border of pellets or beading. The overall design is plain and functional, befitting the utilitarian nature of this small-denomination hammered silver piece. |
