| Obverse description | Crowned interlaced cypher of Bishop Frederick Christian of Münster centrally placed in the field, flanked on either side by upward-curving palm branches forming a wreath. The princely crown above the monogram is rendered in fine detail with arched bands and decorative ornamentation. No peripheral legend is present; the design fills the flan with the monogram as the sole device. |

| Reverse description | Large Roman numeral denomination IIII displayed prominently above the inscription PFEN and the date 1703, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding outer legend reads SHEID.MUNTZ.*FURSTL.MUNSTER, identifying this as Scheidemünze (subsidiary coinage) of the Prince-Bishopric of Münster. The layout is bold and utilitarian, characteristic of small-denomination copper coinage of the early eighteenth century. |
