The outer marginal legend, reading in Latin, contains the ruler's extended titulature referencing the Marquisate and County titles. Decorative lozenge and rosette ornaments punctuate the legend at intervals. The whole is surrounded by a toothed inner border and a milled outer rim consistent with the obverse.
