The circular outer legend LIBRE CREZCA FECUNDO arcs across the upper field, while the date 1862, mint initial T, and assayer initial A appear at the base, separated by dots. The design is enclosed within a beaded border consistent with the obverse, and the composition reflects the neoclassical republican style common to Honduran provisional coinage of the 1860s. |
