| Beschrijving voorzijde | A crown featuring four small pellets arranged in a square formation — two above and two below — surmounts a long-armed cross that extends to the coin's rim. The legend, rendered in uncial script, is divided into four segments by the arms of the cross, readingERICVS REX DSN, identifying Erik as King of Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. The design occupies the full field of this small, irregularly shaped hammered flan. The cross and crown are characteristic of the Scandinavian royal coinage of the early fifteenth century. |
