Reverse description The large numeral 4 dominates the central field, boldly rendered in a serif typeface. A royal crown surmounts the numeral from above, while a wreath of oak branches flanks the design on either side, tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The date is divided across the field, with the first two digits of the year appearing to the left of the numeral and the last two to the right. The overall composition is typical of Maundy coin reverse design by Jean Baptiste Merlen, enclosed within a beaded border.
