| Obverse description | Within a raised square border on an irregular klippe flan, the crowned Vasa sheaf device occupies the central field — a bound sheaf of grain surmounted by a ducal crown with ornate floral finials. The four digits of the date are placed one in each angle of the field: '1' upper left, '6' upper right, '0' lower left, '3' lower right. The design is boldly struck in high relief, characteristic of early Swedish hammered klippe coinage. |
