Reverse description The crowned Danish coat of arms is displayed at center above a cross, the entire composition contained within a beaded circle, with the mintmaster's initials 'GK' flanking the cross at its lower sides. The shield bears the heraldic arms of Denmark in traditional quartered arrangement. The peripheral legend, reading counterclockwise from the left of the crown, states the denomination and date in capital letters separated by pellet stops. The original striking date of 1668 appears at the end of the reverse legend.
