Obverse description Central field displays the large crowned royal cipher of Frederik III, the interlaced monogram partially contained within a beaded inner circle. The crown surmounting the monogram corresponds to the type seen on KM#194.4. The peripheral legend, positioned outside the beaded circle, records the denomination in Danish and the date at the conclusion of the inscription.

Reverse description At center, a crowned flat-topped heraldic shield bearing the arms of Denmark breaks through the beaded inner circle at its base. A cross with thin, flat-ended arms extends from behind the shield. The King's personal motto is inscribed in the outer legend surrounding the beaded circle.
